Columbia Early College High School prepares students for post-secondary life through engaging teaching strategies and rigorous academic content.

The Tyrrell County Board of Education has voted to move the start of the open session board meetings to 5:30 PM. This change is intended to make it more convenient for stakeholders who need to attend. We appreciate your understanding and hope this new time better accommodates your schedules.

BOE Meeting Notification

The TCS Board of Education will meet for a work session on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 4:30 PM. The work session will be held at Tyrrell County Schools Central
Office located at 1107 Hwy 64 East, Columbia, NC 27925

Tyrrell County Schools will be CLOSED Thursday, July 4, 2024 & Friday July 5, 2024 in observance of the July 4th Holiday.

Summer Meals Program

TCS 2-Hour Delay - Wednesday, 5/22/2024
