Sandra Lee Memorial Scholarship for Holistic Counseling & Wellness
Dear Students,
We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Sandra Lee Memorial
Scholarship for Holistic Counseling & Wellness, offered by Just Today Holistic
Counseling and Wellness in honor of our founder's beloved mother. This
scholarship aims to support and encourage aspiring professionals residing in
Tyrrell or Washington County who are dedicated to pursuing careers in the
counseling, substance abuse, or social work field.
Scholarship Details:
Name: Sandra Lee Memorial Scholarship for Holistic Counseling & Wellness
Amount: $500
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a current high school senior.
Must be a resident of Tyrrell or Washington County.
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 or better.
Provide a copy of the acceptance letter from an accredited counseling,
substance abuse, or human services program.
Submit a letter stating why they are interested in the
counseling/substance/social work field.
Include a letter of recommendation explaining why this career field is
suitable for them.
Application Deadline: April 30th
Award Distribution: The scholarship checks will be handed out on May 30th,
with one recipient selected from each county.
Response Deadline: Upon notification of being awarded the scholarship, the
recipient has 7 days to respond. Failure to respond within this period will result in
forfeiture of the scholarship.
How to Apply:
To apply for the Sandra Lee Memorial Scholarship for Holistic Counseling &
Wellness, please submit the following documents to your school guidance
counselor by the application deadline:
1. Completed application form.
2. Copy of your high school transcript showing a GPA of 2.8 or better.
3. Acceptance letter from an accredited counseling, substance abuse, or human
services program.
4. Letter stating why you are interested in the counseling/substance/human
services field.
5. Letter of recommendation explaining why this career field is suitable for
you.
