Columbia High School Early College's CTE program held a CTE Career Fair on Friday, April 8. It was well attended by students (grades 4-13 participated) and businesses/recruiters; the gym was a steady stream of activity from morning until late afternoon.
In addition, CTE teachers took the time to make themselves available to represent their programs and provide a snapshot of what students learn and, and the critical piece, what students DO. Having those tangible items helps the student visualize themselves in CTE classes and working in that field!
This was a wonderful display of who CHS is and what CHS does!
