The Tyrrell County Schools Board of Education voted this evening to make masks optional, effective immediately. This DOES INCLUDE Pre-K students. Masks must still be worn on school provided transportation.

Wednesday, November 10 2021:
The district will be closing at 3:30pm, as Dominion Power will be repairing lines on HWY 64. This repair will shut off power to all school locations during this repair.

Thursday, November 11, 2021:
Veterans Day Holiday - Schools Closed

Friday, November 12, 2021:
Tyrrell County Schools will operate a remote learning day for all students and staff on Friday, November 12, 2021. The district will undergo disinfecting and cleaning. We have contracted with a service provider to conduct this process.

Good afternoon. This is a message from Tyrrell County Schools for parents of students riding Bus 109 and Bus 111. We will be combining Bus 109 with Bus 111 for the regular afternoon routes for today (October 7th) and tomorrow (Friday, October 8th.) Because of this, please expect your child to run a little late from his or her usual home arrive time. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.
