In anticipation of a winter weather event overnight and into the early morning, Tyrrell County Schools will operate on a Remote Learning Day for all students on Thursday, January 28, 2021. In addition, all district buildings will be closed and meal deliveries will not operate tomorrow.

This will count as a regular school day, so students should check their emails and class learning sites for assigned activities.

An additional employee at Tyrrell Elementary School has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

CMS will be closing for the quarantine period of 10 days. The building will reopen on January 25, 2021.
